Thinking of upgrading your stock Toyota exhaust? Toyota's small engines (small compared to domestic v8 engines) perform best with back pressure. That's why they come from the factory with smal exhaust pipes. Top end power comes from free flowing exhaust, but low end torque, which is good to have when off roading, comes from a slightly restrictive exhaust that creates backpressure.
